A pea green patch on a mustard yellow marble form a PELTIER PEERLESS PATCH with the face of ANDY screened onto the yellow opposite the patch. ANDY was of Andy Gump fame in the syndicated comic strips and movie shorts of the 1920s.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 A beautiful wet and shiny surface with no sign of play or wear of any kind. Also, and rather rare for these Comic Marbles, there is no excess graphite splatter. I can find only a single, clearly as-made, melted dimple. This is one of the best examples of these Comic Marbles that I've had in some time. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.39mm or 0.684" at the equator. | |||||
