There just seems to be, sort of a general rule, that when marbles reach the coveted 2" mark, the craftsmanship is almost always lifted to the level of the masters. This marble for instance, can't be matched for the near perfect alignment of the colorful ribbons and artistic twist of this georgeous example. You can see for yourself, better than I can describe with words, just how beautiful this old piece really is.
CONDITION: POLISHED: The workman has done an excellent job in leaving all of the exterior art work in tact. Of course the pontail marks are gone. There are a couple of residual marks that were just to deep to remove without also removing vital pieces of the marble's identity; These are visible in the pictures You may click here to view the grading system I use.
