The Peltier RUBY SLIPPER certainly got it's name from the bubble filled deep, dark, ruby red base glass that nearly overwhelms the sometimes faint white surface ribbons. The pictures tell a better story about the marble and it's condition than I can on this one. Transparent red is one of the most rare colors that Peltier made over their many years of production.
CONDITION: MINT(-) The surface is wet and shiny as a mint marble should be, but there are so many bubbles crowding each other around that they have traveled too near to the surface causing many to collapse leaving melted dimples and some only the leading edge of the bubbles are affected leaving a rather wavy appearance. Again, the pictures tell it all. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 14.74mm or 0.580" at the equator. | |||||
