Red and black corkscrews over a yellow base glass gives us what collectors have long known as: the Akro Agate INDIAN BLANKET, one of the more popular varieties they produced. The ever expanding growth of the marble collecting community has contributed greatly to the their popularity. They have become so hard to find, anywhere, that collecting somewhat less than mint-condition examples of this type has become the norm; however, this gem is far beyond the norm: Indian Blankets of this size and condition are simply not available. I have had to dig deep into my collection to find it, but here it is, a wet mint 23/32" shooter.
CONDITION: WET MINT 9.8 or better. The surface is pristine, it appears to have never been touched. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 18.25mm or 0.719" at the equator. | |||||
