In breaking with tradition a little bit, I am showing the cut-line of this big old Transitional Slag from CAC as the first picture. One of the quite rare features of this near monster sized hand/machine made slag is the fact that this one was made by a left-hander. You can follow the turn of the marble from the third through the sixth pictures, and their ending/beginning at the first and second. Most of the white on this example is just beneath the surface but has a mesmerizing affect on the viewer.
CONDITION: WET MINT 9.8 I can find no surface defects or signs of wear at all on this, one of CAC's earliest efforts. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 20.92mm or 0.823" at the equator. | |||||
