Three pretty blue, green, white, and red ribbons run from pole to pole at the core of a crystal clear base glass with three faint sets of lattice ribbons mirroring their activity on the surface. The pontail marks are both unfinished, providing a manufacturing date toward the end of the German handmade marble era, circa 1880-1910.
CONDITION: MINT The surface is wet and shiny with no sign of play or wear of any kind. The only anomaly that I can find is the marble is a bit taller than it is wide, and not as much as I first thought before making the measurements--0.009" difference. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 0.909" at the poles and 0.900" at the equator. | |||||
