This one is hardly ever seen anymore except in the collections of the old die-hard Marble King collectors: the Green and Yellow GIRL SCOUT colors provide the name of this old favorite. The ribbons meet a the center of the two opposing seams, and the opposing color patches are found on either end as they should in the old school Marble King Rainbo style, e.g., Yellow patch, Green ribbon, Yellow Ribbon, and finally, the Green Patch.
Just the fact that this is an early version of an old favorite, I am pleased just to have found it at all; but the icing on the cake is the strong OXBLOOD stripes overlaying the green ribbons around the entire circumference. CONDITION: MINT(-) The surface is nice and shiny, with no sign of play or wear, but there are some as-made marks here and there that the pictures can better describe than I can. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.30mm or 0.641" at the equator. | |||||
