Four black ribbons, sprinkled with aventurine, more than shown in these images, meet at two seems on opposite ends of a bright orange base glass describes what collectors have long called the Peltier NLR TIGER.
I'm afraid I may be getting famous for my lack of photographic skill when it comes to capturing the goal of the sparkling effect of aventurine. Still, this example's bright, shiny, rather dark orange, for an NLR, exemplifies the pleasing contrast of aventurine black on orange. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 or better. The surface is bright and shiny, with no sign of play or wear of any kind, and unusually clean for any style of Peltier. There aren't even any of the tiny melted dimples or blow holes found on most examples. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.01mm or 0.591" at the equator. | |||||
