An absolute charmer, this one. Any red Peltier marble is always a rare find, and the darker the red, the better for most collectors. We've all seen marbles call "Wasps" with the colors running from red-orange to almost pure orange containing some red streaks. The red in this one is about as dark a red as can be found with Peltier. The black ribbons that meet at the two seams of this dark red base glass appear to be dripping with the heavily applied fine aventurine particles for which Peltier is known. Not only is there a lot of aventurine, I believe some of it is blue.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.8 or better. Aided by the sparkling aventurine, the shiny surface appears to be dripping wet. I can find no anomalies of any kind to report. This one is for the very top-end collector. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.72mm or 0.619" at the equator. | |||||
