Here is another increasingly popular marble that has been with us for over 100 years: an antique German handmade JOSEPH's COAT swirl. The base glass is crystal clear with bands of color, predominantly orange and red accompanied by white, blue, grey, yellow, and green, applied in bands and lines from pole to pole. The pontail marks are unfinished and perfectly clean.
With the notably bright colors of the surface bands, the eminently clear base glass, and the unfinished pontail marks, we can assess the manufacture date to circa 1880-1910 and later. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface has a glossy wet shine, and there are no signs of play or wear at all. The fourth and fifth pictures show a couple of cold-roll creases.
