When these old German handmade LATTICINIO swirls contain red in the web, either alternating with any other color or just a solid red web, collectors come out of the woodwork for a chance to own it. There are other colors more rare than red, although not many. Still, it's been my experience that any latticinio swirl containing red is by far the most popular, hardest to obtain, and the most difficult to maintain in my collection.
CONDITION: MINT(-) The surface has the glossy wet shine expected of a mint marble. I can find no sign of play or wear of any kind. There are no annealing fractures, hits, bruises, or missing glass. There are, however, a myriad of tiny elongated bubbles on the surface, and the interior, primarily toward one side of the marble--those on the surface have an initial unsettling effect on the collector. However, a close inspection will verify the condition to be mint. As always, SATISFACTION is 100% GUARANTEED You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.78mm or 0.700" at the equator. | |||||
