Powder blue and orange bands alternate around a clear-based marble's solid white inner core. On or just below the surface, four sets of three lattice ribbons create a charming pinwheel effect exhibited in the sixth picture.
Both pontail marks are unfinished. Information we can use to estimate the manufacture date to the late Victorian era, circa 1870-1910, or perhaps a little later. CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface has the glossy wet shine expected of a mint marble. I can find no evidence of play or wear and only a single surface air bubble. If it is an anomaly, the only other would be the diameter is greater than the height. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.26mm or 0.679" at the equator. | |||||
