I don't recall having ever seen one quite like this before; so, it may be that I may not have given credit to the correct manufacturer. In my opinion, the marble is indeed an Akro Agate Product; however, it wouldn't be my first mistake if this turned out to be made by the Alley Agate Company.
The base glass is about two-thirds opaque white and the rest transparent clear; then, meeting at two seams, the preponderance of the marble's surface is covered by a heavy application of OXBLOOD. The result is delightful. CONDITION: WET MINT 9.8 or better. I have inspected this marble closely with the ade of a bright light and jeweler's loupe. And can report one of the most near-perfect surfaces in my experience. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 15.76mm or 0.620" at the equator. | |||||
