After several stabs of trying to determine whether the color of these swirls is more of a blue tint or is it closer to green, I have settled on turquoise.
The color phenomenon begins on one edge of the ribbons as an almost ghostly translucent green film. Striations of baby-blue, then green, and other blues, until, with the center of the swirls approach, the blues become a darker hue of blue and finally a dark blue streak down the center; so, the title phrase "GREEN to BLUE". The overall effect is: The marble appears to be jet black with turquoise swirls, a brand new color combination from CAC that I haven't encountered before.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The wet shiny surface shows no sign of play or wear. Some exceedingly tiny melted pinpoints are diminutive to insignificance. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 14.72mm or 0.575" at the equator. | |||||
