I remember, and it doesn't seem that long ago when a Peltier 'CHOCOLATE COW" didn't generate any tremendous excitement. Changes are in the wind; the CHOCOLATE COW is one of the treasured "Must Have" marbles needed to fill out that Peltier collection, aventurine collection, or just plain rare marble collection.
Four black ribbons with heavy aventurine meet at the two opposing seams on the surface of the milk-chocolate brown base glass. The combination sounds bizarre but has become all the rage and is now extremely hard to find, especially in the beautiful MINT condition of this one.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 This marble has seen no playtime; there isn't even any pocket wear. I found a couple of tiny pinpricks, about the size of a grain of table salt, in two black ribbons--a condition usually caused by the different annealing times of aventurine and glass. A review of the pictures shows the last four views to have a bit of an orange cast. I will see what I can do about it. Please accept my assurances that this marble is brown from all aspects.
