Cobalt blue and lipstick red corkscrews traverse the surface of a clear marble with wispy white threads, the definition of an Akro Agate RED/BLUE POPEYE CORKSCREW. The red and blue combination is one of the more popular of the two-color Popeyes.
I have come to the point that my verbal description of this gorgeous marble is a waste of time; the pictures do a much better job than I can, so enjoy a good look. CONDITION: The surface is exceedingly wet and shiny, and there is no evidence of play or any other form of wear. All I can find are a few very tiny pinpoints that were too small to be captured by my photographic abilities. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.11mm or 0.634" at the equator. | |||||
