Brilliant yellow, green, red, orange, blue, and white bands and streaks connect the poles of this old nineteenth Century English Style JOSEPH's COAT. The pontail marks are unfinished and as clean as the day they left the factory; also, they confirm the age of the marble, circa 1880-1910. Joseph's Coats are some of my favorites of the antiques.
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface has a glossy wet shine with no sign of play or wear of any kind. The only anomaly is a cold-roll crease shown in the third, fifth, and sixth pictures. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 14.61mm or 0.575" at the equator. | |||||
