There are many swirls on the market today sporting two or three components with pointed tips advertised as flames. Some "experts" argue that five tips are necessary to call a marble a flame; others say seven. There is no question about this enchanting old Alley Agate gem. From every view, flame tips abound, on the surface and even below. I wouldn't even attempt a count when a glance is enough.
CONDITION: MINT 9.5 The surface is wet and shiny in hand. Close inspection with a light and lens reveals a whisper of microscopic wear invisible to the naked eye and doesn't appear in these enlarged pictures.
