There's so much going on with this old beauty it's hard to describe. So, here goes: The crystal clear base glass is host to a variety of activities.
A yellow spiral corkscrew twists for nearly four full turns. Two translucent brown, carnelian corkscrews loosely follow, always on the surface, the large yellow spiral. Their behavior adds more character to the marble one would have thought possible. The yellow spiral has another attendant in the form of a semi-attached transparent orange corkscrew. The orange corkscrew sometimes appears attached, and others, not so much but never far removed. All of these features have combined to make one of the most intricate and attractive corkscrews I have in my possession. CONDITION: We have the glossy wet shine, but I can see a faint scuff mark located in the area the first image is showing. There is a tiny fingernail line at the other pole that doesn't show up as well as it should in the second picture. Even though the anomalies are faint and nearly microscopic, I'm afraid they occurred after leaving the factory. NEAR MINT(+) is the highest rating I can give.
