A mustard yellow base glass with a tomato red patch describes a patch marble market as the Peltier Peerless Patch. Peltier sold these in many color combinations. They also screened their famous Comic Picture Marbles on the Peerless marbles. This one features BETTY BOOP! Seemingly as popular as she was in the syndicated comic strips of the 1920s, about the time Peltier was making these Comic Picture Marbles.
I have shown the face and opposite side of the marble in the first and second pictures. The last four pictures represent views of the four quadrants of the marble. CONDITION: NEAR MINT(++) Lovely marble with a good shine, but a couple of tiny pinpricks may or may not be as-made at the factory. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.16mm or 0.675" at the equator. | |||||
