During their short duration, the Christensen Agate Company made some of the world's most beautiful marbles. Their SLAGs were no exception, including this highly UV reactive YELLOW--see the sixth picture.
As with most marble manufacturers, Yellow was the rarest of the colors produced. This instance also displays opalescence, uncommon with slags, and the SINGLE SEAM construction is yet another rare feature. CONDITION: MINT(-) A surface has a glistening wet look with no sign of play or wear at all. With a 10x loupe, I can see some exceptionally tiny pinpoints invisible to the naked eye or even these enlarged pictures. There are no accompanying collision marks; besides, they are just too minuscule to have been the result of anything but the manufacturing process. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.75mm or 0.569" at the equator. | |||||
