When I first saw this marble, I thought, "Great, a TRANSPARENT CLEAR OXBLOOD PATCH." The construction closely resembles the style of the old opaque glass Akro ROYALE patches. However, a second look revealed a slight amount of egg yolk on the side opposite the Oxblood and a few strands of white toward the central core.
In the title, I named this marble a CLEAR OXBLOOD, but I suppose it could also be labeled an EggYolk-Oxblood Patch. Neither term seems altogether accurate, so I have chosen to go with the one that feels nearest to correct. As the new owner, you can christen it as you think best. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The surface has a shiny, wet look with no sign of play or any wear at all. All but three of the tiny bubbles shown in the pictures are below the surface; those only made it close enough to collapse into little melted dimples, The only thing resembling an anomaly.
