The red and yellow ribbons meet at the two seams of the semi-translucent white base glass. That would be a Peltier National Line Rainbo classic: the "KETCHUP & MUSTARD." I say semi-translucent because the light does pass through, although just barely; I guess you could call it semi-opaque.
Color covers about half the marble on one side, making a pattern somewhat unusual but not unique for an NLR.
The stark contrast of the K&Ms has always made them some of my favorites. Judging by the marbles found today that are so severely beaten up, I must not be alone in that feeling. They were also favorites of the kids who owned them way back then. That's what makes this one such a pleasure to come across--it's beautiful mint condition. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 Rising air bubbles that nearly made it to the surface but collapsed into tiny melted dimples are the only things I could find to mar the nearly perfectly wet and shiny surface.
