Easily the brightest and most colorful Alley Agate "BACON" I have ever seen, much less encountered. Not much imagination is required to see how the colorful swirls of orange with red and brown trim resemble slices of bacon served up on a green base glass. Nor is a lot of conversation needed to describe this old classic either with six images at hand.
CONDITION: MINT(-) 9.0 Were it not for the ample manufactured annealing fractures, I would be hard-pressed to find anything wrong with this marble. It doesn't appear to have ever been handled at all. As for the grading, I gave it a mint rating because it is as it was when it left the factory; and the 9.0 is the lowest mint rating that can be given. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.00mm or 0.630" at the equator. | |||||
