DESCRIPTION: The translucent cloudy white base glass identifies this marble as member of the Akro Agate "ACE" family of marbles. Generous applications of cobalt blue and the rich Akro oxblood are swirled on the surface to form the beautiful and highly desireable Akro Agate BLUE OXBLOOD. The 23/32" size qualifies as a shooter. So, now we have, as the title says, an AKRO AGATE BLUE OXBLOOD ACE SHOOTER; that's pretty high up in the collecting world, the Akro Agate part anyway, and Akro Agate plays no small part in the world of collecting marbles.
In summation, this marble features beauty, rarity, size, and probably above all, superb mint condition. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 or better There is no sign of play or wear on the glossy wet looking surface. All I can find at all is a speck of a place where it looks like the leading edge of a tiny air bubble barely made it to the surface, not enough to break through or to collapse and form a dimple.
