Five criteria are required for classification as an Akro Agate Popeye: The base glass will be transparent clear with wispy strands of opaque white. Also, there will be two corkscrews, each distinctly colored.
DESCRIPTION: This is an Akro Agate Popeye corkscrew. The crystal clear base glass with the familiar wispy white strands are accompanied by Akro's exclusive eggyolk yellow and beautiful royal blue corkscrews. These are the features required for a marble to be classified as a Popeye, or as originally marketed, Tri Onyx Corkscrew. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 or better The surface has a glossy wet shine that makes you reach for a towel to dry it off. There just isn't anything wrong here to describe.
