DESCRIPTION: I know that indigo is a blue color so dark as to be easily confused with black, which causes me to wonder if the Chocolate Oxblood, in this marble, overlays a black corkscrew or is it possibly indigo?
A jet black line runs down the middle of the oxblood and a silvery blue line toward the edge; I don't believe either is part of the basic corkscrew. The pictures show more blue tint to the underlying cork than I see in hand. I'm not sure that it makes any difference to speak of. CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 or better. The surface is bright and shiny, and there is no evidence of any play or wear. I can only find what appears to be the leading edge of a tiny bubble that barely reaches the surface. It is located at the very tip of the narrow end of the black, or possibly indigo, corkscrew. Sorry, that part did not make it to the pictures. I should have rotated the marble just a bit more for the third or fifth pictures. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.06mm or 0.631" at the equator. | |||||
