DESCRIPTION: Four aventurine-laden black ribbons make a pleasantly swirling path to meet at the two seams on the surface of an opaque orange base glass, forming what collectors call a Peltier NLR "TIGER."
The aventurine is much heavier than is shown in the pictures. The particles are fine, almost dustlike, distinctive of Peltier. Most reflect a silver look with some blue. When I attempt to brighten the exposure to better capture the aventurine, it throws everything else off, so other than cropping off the background, the images are untouched. CONDITION: MINT 9.8 There are only two tiny melted dimples on the wet and shiny-looking surface that shows no indications of play or wear. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 16.23mm or 0.639" at the equator. | |||||
