DESCRIPTION: The colors include: yellow, dark blue, and a robust tracer of a much darker hue of blue. Also, as a bonus, a delightful line of green forms where the yellow and blue meet, turning a three-color into a four-color SPECIAL corkscrew. Notice the heavy eyelash-like marks in the darker blue at both poles that help us date the manufacture time to before 1922 when the so-called "Freeze improvements" were installed to remove such sheer/crimp marks from the final product.
CONDITION: MINT(+) 9.7 The wet shiny surface shows no sign of handling at all, and there are only three tiny melted dimples to mar the near-perfect finish. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.36mm or 0.683" at the equator. | |||||
