DESCRIPTION: A clear glass marble with opaque white striations in a corkscrew pattern brands this marble as an Akro Agate Popeye. All that is needed in addition are two differently-colored corkscrews. This complex offering has four differently-colored corkscrews: a bright yellow one, at least two hues of purple, and yet another one of bright blue. That makes an unbelievable four-color Popeye. If the clear and the white striations are counted as colors, and many collectors do, this would be a six-color corkscrew--Remarkable!
CONDITION: MINT 9.6 The surface has a glossy wet shine and no evidence of handling or attrition. I can only find a single open air bubble with melted edges that can best be seen in the sixth image. You may click here to view the grading system I use. Size 17.77mm or 0.699" at the equator. | |||||
